Battery Health is a free macOS menu-bar utility that shows your Mac's charge, battery health, cycle count, and power adapter wattage. It reads these values locally and never uploads them. Battery Health은 Mac의 충전량, 배터리 건강도, 사이클 수, 전원 어댑터 와트를 보여주는 무료 macOS 메뉴 막대 유틸리티입니다. 값은 로컬에서만 읽고 절대 업로드하지 않습니다.

Requirements요구 사항

A Mac with a built-in battery (MacBook Air or MacBook Pro).내장 배터리가 있는 Mac (MacBook Air 또는 MacBook Pro).

Quick Start빠른 시작

Open Battery Health from Launchpad or the Applications folder. A pulse-line battery icon appears in the menu bar.런치패드 또는 응용 프로그램 폴더에서 Battery Health을 엽니다. 메뉴 막대에 펄스 라인 배터리 아이콘이 나타납니다.
Click the icon to open the dashboard.아이콘을 클릭하면 대시보드가 열립니다.
Click Refresh (the circular arrow) to re-read the values now; they also refresh automatically once an hour.새로 고침(원형 화살표)을 누르면 즉시 다시 읽습니다. 값은 1시간마다 자동 갱신되기도 합니다.
Use the info icon at the bottom left for About, and the power icon at the bottom right to quit.왼쪽 아래 정보 아이콘은 정보(About), 오른쪽 아래 전원 아이콘은 종료입니다.

What Each Row Means각 항목의 의미

Charge충전량

The current charge level. The link icon beside it opens the Battery pane in System Settings, where macOS charging options live.현재 충전량입니다. 옆의 링크 아이콘은 macOS 충전 옵션이 있는 시스템 설정의 배터리 패널을 엽니다.

Battery health배터리 건강도

Maximum capacity as a percentage of the battery's design capacity. Green means above 80%, orange exactly 80%, red below 80%, gray when unavailable. The info icon beside the label shows this legend and the source of the figure: "Calculated from full/design capacity" when both values are available, or "Reported by macOS" when only a reported maximum capacity exists.설계 용량 대비 최대 용량의 백분율입니다. 초록은 80% 초과, 주황은 정확히 80%, 빨강은 80% 미만, 회색은 사용 불가를 뜻합니다. 레이블 옆 정보 아이콘에는 범례와 출처가 표시됩니다. 두 값이 모두 있으면 '완충/설계 용량으로 계산', 보고된 최대 용량만 있으면 'macOS 보고값'이라고 표시됩니다.

Cycle count사이클 수

The number of charge cycles the battery has completed, as reported by macOS.macOS가 보고하는, 배터리가 완료한 충전 사이클 수입니다.

Power adapter전원 어댑터

The rated wattage of the connected adapter, for example "67 W". This is the adapter's rating, not the power being delivered right now. "Not connected" means the Mac is on battery. "Connected" means the Mac is on AC power through an adapter, dock, or hub that does not report a wattage.연결된 어댑터의 정격 와트(예: "67 W")입니다. 현재 공급 중인 전력이 아니라 정격 값입니다. '연결 안 됨'은 배터리로 동작 중, '연결됨'은 와트를 보고하지 않는 어댑터·독·허브로 어댑터 전원을 쓰고 있다는 뜻입니다.

Condition상태

Appears only when macOS reports a battery condition such as "Normal" or "Service Recommended". If macOS provides nothing, the row is omitted rather than guessed.macOS가 '정상'이나 '서비스 권장' 같은 배터리 상태를 보고할 때만 나타납니다. 정보가 없으면 추측하지 않고 항목을 생략합니다.

Launch at Login로그인 시 시작

Starts Battery Health automatically when you log in. The switch registers the app with the macOS login-item service; you can also review it under System Settings › General › Login Items & Extensions.로그인할 때 Battery Health을 자동으로 시작합니다. 스위치는 macOS 로그인 항목 서비스에 앱을 등록하며, 시스템 설정 › 일반 › 로그인 항목 및 확장 기능에서도 확인할 수 있습니다.

Troubleshooting문제 해결

I don't see the icon in the menu bar메뉴 막대에 아이콘이 안 보여요

Confirm the app is running (it appears in the Dock while open). If the menu bar is crowded, macOS may hide items; make room by removing or rearranging other status items, or check the notch area on MacBook Pro models with a display cutout.앱이 실행 중인지 확인해 보세요 (실행 중에는 Dock에 나타납니다). 메뉴 막대가 꽉 차 있으면 macOS가 항목을 숨길 수 있습니다. 다른 상태 항목을 정리하거나, 디스플레이 홈이 있는 MacBook Pro는 홈 영역도 확인해 주세요.

A value shows "Unavailable"값이 '사용할 수 없음'으로 표시돼요

macOS did not provide that value for your Mac. Battery Health never estimates a missing value. Try Refresh; if it stays unavailable, the information is not exposed by the system on this model.macOS가 이 Mac에서 해당 값을 제공하지 않은 것입니다. Battery Health은 없는 값을 추정하지 않습니다. 새로 고침을 눌러 보고, 계속 사용할 수 없음이면 이 모델에서 시스템이 해당 정보를 노출하지 않는 것입니다.

"Battery information is temporarily unavailable.""배터리 정보를 일시적으로 사용할 수 없습니다."

The app could not read the battery service. On a desktop Mac this is expected. On a MacBook, click Refresh; if it persists after a restart, please report it.앱이 배터리 서비스를 읽지 못한 것입니다. 데스크톱 Mac에서는 정상입니다. MacBook이라면 새로 고침을 눌러 보고, 재시작 후에도 계속되면 제보해 주세요.

Launch at Login does not start the app로그인 시 시작이 동작하지 않아요

Make sure Battery Health is installed in the Applications folder and that it is allowed under System Settings › General › Login Items & Extensions. Turn the switch off and on again to re-register.Battery Health이 응용 프로그램 폴더에 설치돼 있고, 시스템 설정 › 일반 › 로그인 항목 및 확장 기능에서 허용되어 있는지 확인하세요. 스위치를 끄었다 다시 켜면 다시 등록됩니다.

The health percentage differs from another app다른 앱과 건강도 백분율이 달라요

Apps divide different capacity values. Battery Health shows its method under the info icon so you can compare like with like.앱마다 나누는 용량 값이 다릅니다. Battery Health은 정보 아이콘 아래 계산 방식을 표시하므로 같은 기준끼리 비교할 수 있습니다.

Privacy개인정보

Report an Issue문제 보고

In the app, open About (info icon, bottom left) and choose "Report an Issue…". It opens a draft in your mail client with the app and macOS versions filled in; add what you saw and what you expected. You can also write to support@hydromo.dev directly.
